Berlin — SMP advised venture capitalist La Famiglia on the launch of its second fund. With a volume of 50 million, the fund is significantly larger than the first generation of funds launched in 2017 and is designed to support TransTech companies. Skype founder Niklas Zennström as well as fund founder Jeannette zu Fürstenberg, the family offices of the Oetker, Hymer and Swarovski families as well as other well-known investors participate in La Famiglia II. La Famiglia was comprehensively advised on legal and tax matters by the team led by SMP partner Fabian Euhus.
“Developers of transformative technologies are on a mission to improve human well-being. This important endeavor will be further advanced with the launch of the new La Famiglia Fund. We are pleased to have served as legal advisors to the team in this effort,” said SMP partner Fabian Euhus.
