Düsseldorf — The French medium-sized company LACROIX has acquired SAE IT-systems, a specialist in control technology for monitoring and securing power grids and infrastructure in the field of renewable energies. Luther advised LACROIX on the transaction.
LACROIX Group, listed on Euronext, is an international supplier of technical equipment. The company’s goal is to develop technical solutions for a connected and sustainable world. LACROIX has locations in France, Germany, Poland, Tunisia, Spain, Italy and Singapore.
LACROIX provides secure, networked equipment for the control of smart road infrastructure as well as for the control of water and energy infrastructure. In addition, LACROIX designs and manufactures electronic equipment for customers in the automotive, home automation, aerospace, manufacturing and healthcare industries.
SAE IT-systems develops and produces telecontrol and station control technology for the application areas electricity, gas, heat, water, industry and infrastructure.
Together with SAE IT-systems, the LACROIX Group aims to meet the challenges of tomorrow’s power grids, namely the integration, monitoring and control of renewable energy sources, the development of smart distribution grids and consumption control. With these new capabilities, LACROIX is entering the energy networks and “smart grids” markets.
