Frankfurt a. Main — Frankfurt-based corporate finance boutique Pericap AG has joined Clairfield International. Effective July 01, 2019, the two founders Prof. Dr. Serge Ragotzky and Michael Haas have joined the Clairfield Group as partners.
Dr. Serge Ragotzky (photo) has many years of experience in M&A and capital markets. After holding professional positions at Sal. Oppenheim, HSBC and UBS for six years as Managing Director responsible for the German corporate finance business of the pan-European investment bank Kepler Cheuvreux (formerly Kepler Capital Markets). Since 2014, he has also been Professor of Investment Banking at HfWU Nürtingen-Geislingen.
Michael Haas, CFA , who holds a degree in business mathematics, founded PeriCap together with Dr. Ragotzky in 2013 and has since been advising medium-sized and high-growth companies in the areas of M&A and capital raising. Previously, Michael Haas also spent six years at Kepler Cheuvreux, most recently as Director Corporate Finance. Other professional positions include BDO Transaction Services, Bankhaus Lampe M&A and NIBC Infrastructure Financing. The addition of the Frankfurt office brings Clairfield’s total number of partners in Germany to ten. Further team additions at the Düsseldorf and Stuttgart locations are planned for the second half of the year.
