Düsseldorf — Christoph Büth (51) will become the new Head of Equity Financing and Investments as of July 15, 2018. He succeeds Dr. Peter Güllmann, who will leave NRW.BANK in the middle of the year.
Michael Stölting, Member of the Managing Board of NRW.BANK, says: “NRW.BANK’s equity capital financing activities are of central importance for modern start-up, SME and innovation promotion in North Rhine-Westphalia and thus of increasing strategic importance for the Bank. We therefore already significantly expanded our venture capital commitment at the end of last year. In this respect, we are pleased that we were able to fill the position internally at NRW.BANK with a very experienced expert and connoisseur of the investment business.”
Büth has been employed at NRW.BANK since 2007 — initially as an equity investment manager, then as Head of the SME Equity Financing Department since 2009. Previously, the trained banker and graduate in business administration worked in the investment business of WestLB.
