Berlin — International law firm Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner (BCLP) has advised Northzone on its follow-on investment in the Series B funding round for Berlin-based games developer Klang Games.
As part of the financing round, Novator Partners and LEGO Ventures joined as new investors. In addition to Northzone, other legacy investors Neoteny, firstminute capital, Makers Fund and New Life Ventures also participated, bringing Klang Games’ total raised to over USD 22 million. The Berlin-based games start-up was founded in 2013 by CEO Mundi Vondi in Reykjavik, Iceland, and later moved to the German capital. With the newly raised capital, Klang Games plans to further develop its hit game “Seed”, an MMO game with persistent storylines that can be used by thousands of players simultaneously.
