BID Equity was foun­ded in 2016 by a small, passio­nate team of entrepreneurs
and consul­tants from the soft­ware indus­try. This passion has developed
into one of the few specia­li­zed soft­ware inves­tors in Germany. Today, the BID Equity Funds manage more than half a billion euros. With a focus on growth as well as late-stage invest­ments, the BID Equity Funds invest prima­rily in the context of corpo­rate succes­si­ons and share­hol­der buyouts in Europe and North America. We pursue an entre­pre­neu­rial invest­ment approach. We define this as the syste­ma­tic deve­lo­p­ment of a company through buy & build, inter­na­tio­na­liza­tion and digi­tiza­tion stra­te­gies. For us, close coope­ra­tion with the teams of our port­fo­lio compa­nies as part­ners is a core value of our daily work.
