P.R.I.S.M.A. is a German company specializing in clinical trial services for the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. P.R.I.S.M.A. and its experienced professionals strengthen Labquality’s offer of clinical trials in the pharmaceutical and biotech markets. The acquisition is in line with Labquality’s strategy to build a full-service international contract research organization (CRO). — A team led by Dr. Jörg Schewe, Heuking Partner at the Hamburg office, advised Finnish Labquality Oy on the acquisition of P.R.I.S.M.A.-CRO Clinical Research Organisation GmbH.
Labquality Oy is a Finnish company based in Helsinki. The team consists of healthcare and health tech quality experts. Labquality provides quality services to the healthcare, pharmaceutical and medical device industries; these include external quality assessments, regulatory consulting, clinical trials and studies, audits and certifications, and training. Labquality supports medical device and in vitro diagnostic manufacturers, pharmaceutical companies, healthcare facilities, and clinical laboratories, among others.
The acquisition of P.R.I.S.M.A. enables Labquality to expand its CRO business in the European pharmaceutical market. This expands Labquality’s clinical trial services to pharmaceuticals in Germany and strengthens its position as a CRO service provider for the pharmaceutical and healthcare technology industry.
