Habyt: Series C for € 40 million with, among others, Vorwerk, Burda Principal and Deutsche Invest
Berlin ‑Founded in Berlin in 2017, Habyt is one of the world’s leading providers of flexible housing and currently has over 30,000 units in more than 50 cities on three continents. Habyt raises €40 million in Series C from new as well as existing investors. — This round is led by new investors Korelya Capital (Paris) and Deutsche Invest (Munich). In addition, new investors Exor Ventures and Endeavor Catalyst participated, as well as existing shareholders P101, ITALIA500-Azimut, HV Capital, Vorwerk Ventures, Norwest, Kinnevik, Burda Principal Investments and Inveready.
Habyt plans to use the freshly raised capital for further expansion to be present in the UK and other new markets. Since the Series B financing round in 2021, Habyt has strengthened its position with mergers and acquisitions and has expanded into the North American and Asian markets. In 2023, for example, Habyt acquired Common Living, a player in the North American market, consolidating its position in the market it had entered in 2022 with the acquisition of Singapore-headquartered Hmlet.
