Walldorf / Munich — GSK Stockmann has provided legal advice to MP Musikhandel GmbH & Co KG, a Walldorf-based company of the Session Group, on the acquisition of the operational business of Musik Produktiv GmbH & Co KG in Ibbenbüren. The seller is the private equity company PartnerFonds AG from Munich.
For over 45 years and with over 70 employees, Musik Produktiv has been a leading trading company in the specialist music trade, operating nationwide in both the stationary and the growing online and mail order business.
With its brick-and-mortar stores as well as its constantly growing online store, the Session Group is one of the largest companies in the music retail sector in Germany.
