EQT Ventures leads Series A €15 million investment in packaging startup Packmatic
Berlin/ Munich — EQT Ventures has led a Series A financing round of EUR 15 million in the Berlin-based startup Packmatic, a leading digital purchasing platform for packaging in Europe. Other investors included HV Capital and xDeck as well as the founders of Zalando as business angels. A large part of the investment will be used to further expand the supplier network and the company’s presence in Europe.
More than 100 medium-sized companies and fast-growing digital companies use Packmatic to achieve sustainable savings potential and optimize their packaging in line with current sustainability standards. With more than 300 packaging suppliers, Packmatic has access to the largest supplier network in Europe and can access suppliers’ machine fleets in just a few clicks with its specially developed Smart Matching technology.
