Munich — AURELIUS Growth Capital acquires Marcus Transport with HF Private Debt. — Shearman & Sterling advised HF Private Debt on the financing of the acquisition of Marcus Transport by AURELIUS Growth Capital.
Marcus Transport GmbH is a medium-sized company in the field of industrial services based in Wuppertal. The focus is on the execution of industrial assemblies, machine rentals (especially forklifts, mobile cranes and lifting platforms), special logistics as well as maintenance and service of industrial trucks. Around 100 employees at the headquarters in Wuppertal are responsible for handling these tasks. The family business was founded in the 1930s.
As part of the AURELIUS Group, AURELIUS Growth Capital focuses on buyouts/succession solutions and on the acquisition of parts of larger medium-sized companies and groups (spin-offs).
