Stuttgart/ Berlin — SMP advised the international growth investor Acton Capital Partners (Acton Capital) on its investment in the digital industrial marketplace Laserhub. In addition, existing investors Project A and Point Nine Capital also participated in the Series A financing round, which was led by Acton Capital as lead investor. Laserhub already successfully raised a seven-figure sum last summer; at the time, SMP had acted alongside Project A.
So far, Laserhub is represented with its offer on the markets in Germany, Austria and France. The company now plans to use the fresh capital to drive its expansion across Europe.

About Laserhub
Laserhub is a B2B startup based in Stuttgart, Germany, that has developed a vertically integrated, multi-vendor procurement platform for custom metal parts. The smart algorithm links the individual wishes of the customer with the resources of the producers from the Laserhub network for the order. This reduces both process and parts costs for procurers, as well as ordering and processing times. The advantage for producers is the utilization of free manufacturing resources, which leads to an increase in profitability. Laserhub acts as the sole contractual partner for all parties involved and is responsible for the entire process: from automatic quotation generation to order placement, implementation, logistics and invoicing. The company was founded in 2017 by Adrian Raidt, Christoph Rößner and Jonas Schweizer.
