Eschborn — Rödl & Partner has provided Silver Investment Partners (SIP) with comprehensive commercial advice on acquisitions in connection with the establishment and expansion of its majority shareholding in COHEMI Group GmbH (COHEMI), an IT consulting group. The newly founded consulting group, an alliance of SIRIUS Consulting & Training, Acuroc Solutions and IQ Solutions, is pursuing a long-term buy-and-build strategy. The existing management of all three companies will remain significantly involved both operationally and financially.
This merger of the portfolio companies from IT, process and organizational consulting has the potential to jointly exploit existing growth opportunities in the market and create synergies at Group level. For the customers and target group — SMEs and corporations in the DACH region, particularly in the chemical, pharmaceutical, life sciences and energy supply sectors — the integration means a more comprehensive range of consulting services. The Group’s core competencies include IT governance, IT project management, (IT) service management, change management, asset strategy & performance management, data management as well as software asset and license management.
SIP was advised on this transaction by a Rödl & Partner team specializing in private equity transactions, led by partner Tobias Beine. Senior Associate Dr. Maximilian Focke and Associate Simon Holzweiler joined the Transaction Services team from Eschborn near Frankfurt am Main.
