Düsseldorf — AddSecure Group acquires the DigiComm Group. Heuking provided legal advice to the shareholders of DigiComm Group on the takeover by the Swedish AddSecure Group.
For the DigiComm Group, this acquisition represents a significant milestone on its growth path. As part of AddSecure, it gains access to the financial stability and resources of a larger, expansive player. This will enable the DigiComm Group to embark on its next phase of growth and further expand its market position. The acquisition expands the AddSecure Group’s presence in the DACH region and gives it access to a broad range of expertise and offerings in the critical infrastructure sector. The Swedish company is also opening up the new application area of intelligent waste management.
For decades, the DigiComm Group has been one of the leading companies when it comes to monitoring and securely controlling decentralized systems or critical infrastructures. The company has particular expertise in telecontrol communication technology for utilities, water boards and distribution network operators. Today, these solutions are among the most important platforms for future tasks such as the digitalization of the energy transition or the implementation of Industry 4.0 and the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT). Through memberships in the areas of “Cyber Security” and “450Alliance”, the company secures an up-to-date and significant information advantage for itself and its customers.
The takeover of the DigiComm Group by AddSecure is expected to be completed in the coming weeks.
