Munich — OMMAX assisted Unigestion SA in the acquisition of Springer Fachmedien München and the entire mobility education and training business of Springer Nature, resulting in the formation of TecVia Group. TecVia is a leading provider of education and training solutions in the mobility sector with headquarters in Munich. In preparation for the acquisition of Springer Nature’s mobility education and training business, OMMAX supported Unigestion with technical due diligence.
Technical due diligence analyzed and evaluated the technical capabilities and set-up in the core markets of Germany and France. The analyses included modules such as technology and product strategy, system architecture, software development lifecycle, organizational setup and IT security.
“Unigestion was extremely pleased with the comprehensive technical analysis OMMAX provided, which facilitated the successful acquisition of TecVia. The work of the Tech Due Diligence team provided an excellent overview of the current and future technical capabilities of the company’s software,” said Philipp Scheier, Partner at Unigestion.
Dr. Stefan Sambol (photo © OMMAX), co-founder and partner at OMMAX, commented: “We congratulate Unigestion on the successful acquisition of TecVia. It was a great pleasure to work together on this tech due diligence! ”
