Stuttgart — Menold Bezler advised the shareholders of the smart home provider homee GmbH on the sale of one third of their shares to Novaco Invest GmbH. The remaining shares are still held by Codeatelier GmbH from Stuttgart and the Austrian energy service provider Energie Steiermark AG.
The Berlin-based start-up homee offers a modular smart home solution that combines different wireless standards from different manufacturers. Users can expand the application as desired via add-on modules in cube form and control the devices remotely via an app.
Novaco Invest is a subsidiary of the Marktheidenfeld sun protection supplier Warema Renkhoff SE. Warema and homee already worked together on the development of the Warema WMS cube and the participation is intended to further strengthen this cooperation. Warema contributes expertise in the areas of indoor climate, sunlight management and electronic components in particular.
A Menold Bezler team advised the shareholders of homee GmbH on all transaction-related legal issues.
