Berlin / Vienna — Berlin-based fintech with a branch office in Vienna Bambus.io has closed another financing deal with a total volume in the mid-six-figure range. The round was led by Calm/Storm Ventures, a new fund initiated by Lucas Polagnoli (pictured right) and Michael Ströck (pictured left). In addition to the lead investor, business angels and existing investors invested in the fintech company specializing in real estate lending. Bambus.io was comprehensively advised on corporate and regulatory law by a team led by SMP partners Benjamin Ullrich and Lennart Lorenz.
“Bambus.io helps real estate owners to increase their liquidity and informs them about the different capital raising alternatives as well as the associated conditions of more than 400 banks,” explains SMP partner Benjamin Ullrich. “We are pleased that we were able to advise FinTech on both corporate and regulatory matters — the transaction is not only exemplary for our close relationship with Austria, but also demonstrates the success of our integrated approach of corporate and regulatory advice.”
