Kürten/Wittstock (Germany), July 2, 2019 — AVS Verkehrssicherung (“AVS”), a portfolio company of Triton Fund IV, has signed an agreement to acquire Lorenz GmbH (“Lorenz”), a renowned provider in the field of road marking and construction site safety based in Wittstock/Dosse. The merger is still subject to approval by the antitrust authorities. The parties agreed not to disclose the purchase price. ARQIS advised AVS Verkehrssicherung GmbH (AVS) on the acquisition of Lorenz GmbH (Lorenz).
Since 1992, Lorenz has many years of experience in the application of high-quality and sustainable marking materials, both in permanent and temporary applications. In addition, Lorenz sees itself as a reliable supplier and outfitter of construction site safety equipment. The company is primarily active in the greater Mecklenburg area and Berlin, but also nationwide, and works closely with both state developers, cities and municipalities, and private construction companies.
