Berlin/ Vienna — SMP advised the European VC investor Speedinvest on the structuring of the second focus fund generation Speedinvest x 2. The backers again include the two anchor investors of the first Speedinvest fund, Russmedia and the Styria Media Group from Austria. The Speedinvest x 2 focus fund invests in pre-seed, seed and Series A financing rounds of promising startups in the digital marketplaces and network effects sectors. “With the various focus funds, Speedinvest bundles concentrated sector expertise. The success of this investment strategy was recently demonstrated again in the USD 250 million Series C round of the portfolio company Tier Mobility.
