Hanover/ Munich — Together with ARCUS Capital from Munich, the HANNOVER Finanz Group acquires a majority stake in the Löwenstark Group. Together, the investors will hold more than 75 percent of the shares in the leading online marketing service provider from Braunschweig. In the strategic partnership with company founder Marian Wurm — who remains significantly involved — and the management team around Löwenstark CEO Hartmut Deiwick, growth is to be further expanded and long-term succession planning is to be arranged. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
“Investments in companies with a focus on digitization are now a significant part of our portfolio. With Löwenstark, we have been able to convince another online company to join us. We see a lot of potential in the Braunschweig-based agency group, which is one of the leading online marketing service providers in the D‑A-CH region. The partnership with ARCUS, an investment company with experience in the online industry, is also an asset for our network,” says the HANNOVER Finanz Board Spokesman Goetz HertzEichenrode (photo) on the now completed investment in the Löwenstark Group.
With investments in a wide variety of software, e‑commerce or digitization specialists, such as Corporate Planning AG, Media Concept GmbH or the Markenfilm agency, equity partner HANNOVER Finanz has a wealth of experience in the marketing and digital industries. “Löwenstark offers its customers a truly holistic approach to consulting and solutions that is unparalleled, especially in the SME segment. In addition, we see strong growth potential due to positive market drivers and highly automated business processes. We look forward to working with HANNOVER Finanz and the management to support the company on its successful course in the coming years and to set the course for further growth,” says Stefan Eishold, CEO of ARCUS, about the investment in the Löwenstark Group.
Marian Wurm, founder of Löwenstark: “In ARCUS and HANNOVER Finanz, we have found the right partners for Löwenstark’s strategic development. With their extensive industry and management experience and numerous contacts in the German SME sector, they will actively support us in our next growth steps.”
