EOS Partners: EMS MED TEC takes over Helmut Schweyer Feinmechanik
Munich/ Krailling/ Schweinfurt — The shareholders of Helmut Schweyer Feinmechanik sell their business shares retroactively to 01.01.2021 to a portfolio company of EOS Partners, who thus gain another add-on for their EMS group.
Helmut Schweyer Feinmechanik GmbH is a family-owned company that has been successfully managed by its shareholders for more than 20 years in the field of turning and milling technology for the medical (technology) sector. The company, based in Krailling near Munich, has become a key supplier to a global laboratory technology group over the past 10 years and has always accompanied its aggressive growth. A key success factor for this development is the distinctive know-how with regard to manufacturing from high-quality materials within the narrowest tolerances.
The shareholders of Helmut Schweyer Feinmechanik, Helmut and Eva Schweyer, commissioned Concentro to find a suitable investor who would take over and further expand the business operations in Krailling under the management of their daughter, Stephanie Toch.
Within the EMS MED TEC Group, Schweyer now complements the service portfolio as an add-on with its high-precision turned and milled parts made of high-quality metals. The EMS Group, with locations in Schweinfurt, Euerbach and Hohenwart, focuses on EMS solutions and metal processing for the medical, medical technology and laboratory technology sectors and already counts some well-known medical (technology) groups among its customers.
